An intriguing Cornflower blue cushion shaped Ceylon Sapphire, mounted as a Cocktail ring in slightly rosy hued Gold. A gentle beauty, the whole is imbued with great sympathy and charm, being entirely hand made and uncommonly lovely. The gem is a 'native cut' 6.55ct Untreated Sapphire with a plumpness which is both interesting and endearing, and it comes with a certificate from GEMLAB in Hatton Garden where we have had it examined. There is a natural inclusion within the stone which can be seen at certain angles.
In softly mellow Gold, the delightfully pretty mount is hand crafted with gorgeous ornamental detailing to the collet... just LOOK, it's so adorable! We're unsure of the exact age, but believe it to date to the first half of the 20th century. The inside of the band is marked '14CT', which is a very unusual, as 14k is generally used and would denote a Continental or American origin. The ring size is an 'L' or '5.5' but could easily be altered to suit, you've only to leave us a message on your order form.
