An ethereal antique Edwardian panel ring in a delightfully pretty style; a fine lacy marquise shaped panel (which is soo sweet on the hand), an elegancy which is typical of the era. Set with a fabulous quality old 'European' style hand cut Diamond to the centre (0.20ct), the stones around are a mix of different cuts; one old Victorian mine, two eight cuts, one old Euro and two brilliants, but they all work beautifully together to up the sparklometer!
All old jewellery has a history, and this is a piece which is a marriage of two elements; the one a Diamond set decorative panel, the second an old 22ct yellow gold wedding band and maybe this had some significance for the past owner? The wedding ring is 22ct yellow gold and has a full hallmark for Birmingham which dates it to 1920. The platinum set Diamond panel measures 1.5cm lengthways and 6mm wide, and we can adjust the ring size to suit, it's currently an 'N' or US '7'. The central Diamond measures around 0.20ct.
