A Resplendent Vintage Emerald & Diamond Half Hoop Ring

A glamorous, early 20th century half hoop design ring in Platinum, hand crafted and starring a pair of Columbian Emeralds and three older recycled Diamonds. Just gorgeous!

In the five stone 'half hoop' style so popular throughout the Edwardian era, this beautiful ring is a lovely vision on the hand and is sure to draw admiring glances whenever worn. The two Emeralds are of choice quality and we have had them unset, weighed (at 0.67ct and 0.42ct respectively) and repolished to bring back their fabulous translucency and verdant colour. Set in a fine coronet style mount which has been fashioned to suit the gems and all is custom and skilfully made in the strongest metal used in the crafting of  jewels.  

The three old hand cut Diamonds measure at 0.25ct: 0.35ct: 0.25ct and each have Carbon inclusions being of P3 quality, but bright and immensely glittery even so. One of the end Diamonds having an inclusion which breaks the surface. 

The ring size is an 'O' or '7.25' but could be altered to suit, however it's perhaps not so suitable for a very small hand. We will include a Valuation Certificate for Insurance purposes with this piece.
