One-of-a-kind, this antique solitaire Diamond engagement ring dates to the early 20th century when the setting style developed by Tiffany Jewellers in 1886; a six-prong solitaire setting to maximize light return on a diamond ring was imitated in workshops everywhere. Uncommonly alluring, the lovely old Diamond is cut in a romantically glimmering Cushion shape with a broad spread which has beautiful views from the side and a pleasing plumpness when the light rolls over the facets. A breathless whisper, it's such a joy to take time to observe the shape of the sparkle and we know that her new owner will treasure these aspects too...
In further delightful details, the individually hand made collet has a unique lattice in Platinum which rests on a finely tapered 18ct yellow Gold band which has a British workshop stamp inside for '18CT' Gold. These precious elements are those that we look for and hold dear.
We have unset the Diamond to discern the weight at 1.07ct and you should note the tiny but very interesting 'Natural' inclusion to the pavilion facet.
The ring size is an 'O' or '7' but could easily be altered to suit.
