Such sparkly beauty, a delightful vintage engagement ring, excessively neat in it's creation, with a bright central old transitional cut Diamond (set in a platinum crown) flanked by ten glittery little hand cut Diamonds all in a row. As you would expect, this darling ring has been created completely by hand, as you can see in the magnified photographs, with great care and attention.
It is unusual in that the shoulder stones are all in a yellow gold setting (platinum is much more common), this gives a warmth and brightness which is very lovely which is accentuated by the fine 'millegrain' edging. The stones have a combined weight of around 0.30ct and are exquisitely pretty little hand-cut, each slightly different and have their own shape determined by the natural crystal (see the second photo on 20x zoom). The band is of 18ct yellow gold with marks from the period, which you can see in the second photo.
The size can be adjusted a little, it is a 'L' at the moment.
