Antique 19th Century Rock Crystal and Bloodstone Watch Key
This miniature pocket watch key dates from early 19th century, and would have originally been an accessory for a pocket watch, hung on the watch chain.
The key itself is Steel encased in 9ct Gold, fitted to one side is a Bloodstone or Heliotrope which could be engraved, and on the reverse a Citrine coloured Foiled Rock Crystal the whole finished with a finely chiselled with Rococo design.
This beautiful little key would make an unusual, thoughtful gift, and could be hung on a chain as an unusual pendant. It measures 3cm from the top of the loop to the end of the key.
