Dating to 1891, a very special gift for the horse lover... an antique Silver locket lavishly decorated with an applied Pink and Green Gold Rose (signifying LOVE) above a Silver riding crop; and hand engraved with scrolling naturalistic tendrils around the edges.
It is nicely rounded and comforting in the hand as we believe a locket should feel, and additionally it retains both original frames to keep your keepsakes safe.
Size: the locket is 2cm across and the Silver belcher link chain measures 18 inches
Metal: Silver marked with a full Birmingham hallmark to the reverse. There is also a maker's mark for Sydenham Brothers of Tenby St in Birmingham.
