Dating to the 1920's, a most precious antique Edwardian era Silver locket. Nicely sized it has a plump cushiony shape around a neat hand engraving of Ivy Leaves (symbolising the ties of love) making it a most meaningful and special gift. All closes firmly and it retains both original frames to keep your keepsakes safe.
There is a hallmark to the reverse but we can't make out the actual date year. It was however made, we believe by Walter Louis Manton of Sparkhill in Birmingham.
Size: the locket measures 2.2cm lengthwise. The Silver Belcher chain 20 inches
Metal: Silver hallmarked at the Chester Assay Office
