An enchanting prospect! All original and in enchantingly wonderful condition, this antique Diamond engagement ring was created around 1900 in the spirit of adoration for the beauty of nature inspired by the Art Nouveau Movement. Five exceptionally bright hand cut Diamonds rest upon an intricately detailed scrolled gallery fashioned in 18ct yellow Gold which is a softly mellow hue. The gently twinkling gems are faceted in that ideal which existed around 1890-1920 with larger facets and a slightly quirky personality, each has its own unique shaping dictated by the cutter's hand.
The stones measure at 0.05: 0.10: 0.25: 0.10: 0.05ct (0.50ct combined) judged using a Schindler Gauge and with tiny Platinum tips to the claws for strength, the whole is very beautiful and most harmonious in design and would be a lovely choice for an engagement or even anniversary.
The ring size is a 'Q' or '8' but could easily be adjusted to suit, simply leave us a message on your order form.
