Antique Georgian Watch Key

This sumptuous antique pocket watch key dates from the early 19th Century and would in a previous life have been attached to the pocket watch chain of a Georgian lady or gentleman. The key has a steel core for strength, and is encased in 9ct Gold. On one face there is a beautiful Almandine Garnet coloured glass crystal, and on the other an ovalled Bloodstone, which could be engraved with the new owner's initials if desired. All is engraved with floral swirls. It would make an unusual gift, and could be attached to a charm bracelet, or hung on a chain as a pendant. It measures 2.9cm in length and has a good sized loop to attach the key to a chain. Please inspect the photographs closely as there is wear to the gold casing and it has been repaired on the ring.
