A fabulously dramatic antique late Victorian 18ct yellow Gold band decorated with a trio of hand engraved stars set with delightfully shimmery old hand faceted Diamonds. A classic design known at the time as a 'Gypsy' setting, this kind of unisex ring was a very popular style as a wedding ring. Nicely chunky, the luscious 18ct yellow Gold was hallmarked in the Birmingham Assay Office in 1899. The olden Diamonds to each star measure at around 0.15: 0.35: 0.15ct (a combined weight of 0.60ct) using a Schindler gauge and are full of that old fashioned glimmer which enchants so.
A ring size 'L and a half or '5.75' but easy to alter a little to suit.
