Circa 1860's, a striking and rather beautiful antique Victorian Gothic Period locket in an unusual rhombus shape recalling ecclesiastical architectural elements and designed to resemble a small reliquary. The gorgeous ornamentation to both sides is wonderfully detailed and perhaps remind one of the Fleur de Lys which is an ancient symbol of the Holy Trinity.
Complete with both tiny apertures and frames to hold your precious images or keepsakes, this once beloved antique locket makes for a highly original gift and we are sure would be treasured once again.
It measures 3cm lengthwise and is of 'back and front' construction common of the time in that the structure is of brass or tombac and the front and back are of 9ct Gold.
Most of our rings can be adjusted to fit for free, this can be done on purchase by making a note in the order form if you know the size, or at a later date if it is a gift.
