A fascinating little antique dress accessory which would make a real talking point worn instead of a button at the top of a shirt, dress or blouse. This lovely little stud in the shape of a 'Daisy' in 18ct Gold and set with seven everso sparkly antique Diamonds, all European old cuts and mounted in Platinum, which was a new and extremely fashionable precious metal of that era.
The Platinum and Diamond top unscrews to allow it to be attached to your clothing. The back plate is marked '18' for 18ct, and the stamped maker's mark shows it was made by Henry Williamson of London and Birmingham sometime between 1900 and 1912. The 18ct back plate is 1.3mm across, the post is 5mm long and the Diamond 'daisy' is 8mm across.
