A beautifully preserved antique Edwardian era beaded Amber necklace. This fossilised resin magically evolved from tree sap is has always been prized and it's honey coloured beauty is warm to the touch and light to wear. An immensely fashionable style at the time, one hundred and twenty glossy hand carved beads make up this long, long rope which can be worn doubled (or even tripled) for a dramatic effect and the natural shades range from 'Butterscotch', 'Toffee' through to 'Egg Yolk'.
The rope measures 48 inches, the largest bead is 1.6cm in width and 2.2cm in length; the smallest 7mm by 6mm.
