Oh dreamed of beauty! A glamorous life must surely be the destiny of this splendid ring. Wholly hand crafted, this magical jewel dates to the 1950's and is one of the loveliest of it's kind we have seen. Beautifully proportioned on the hand, alive with the fizzy sparkle of the supremely lovely quality (and very much desired) 1.04ct old European cut Diamond, it is inspired by the idea of a machine age flower, the central collect depicting the blossom and the Diamond sparkled shoulders the leaves. Both modern and astoundingly striking, this piece is archetypal Art Deco and has a very confident presence.
The stone is uncertificated but we would judge it to be of 'H/I' colour and VVS1 clarity having a couple of small white inclusions which are viewable using a 10x loupe. It would have been cut around 1890 and so was reused in the making of this fantastic ring, a fact which is very reassuring when considering concerns about the current Diamond mining industry.
The ring is a size 'N' or '6.5' but could easily be altered to fit.
