Affectionately smooth on the finger, this beautiful antique Diamond engagement ring has such a sympathetic warmth of feel and the most awesome opulently scrolled details to the setting of the chunky mine cut Diamond. All is handmade and if you zoom over the photographs you will see the saw marks evident in the cutting of the scrolled edges. The hand cut Diamond weighs approximately 0.30ct and is nicely bright and quirky in form, all together a charmingly historic look for an especially meaningful ring.
Made by William Osborn of Northampton Street in the jewellery quarter of Birmingham who was registered in 1888, it has the maker's reference number '2452' engraved in the shank.
A finger size 'M/6/12/52', we can adjust the fit for free.
