Beautifully preserved, a very lovely solid 9ct yellow Gold oval locket with space for two precious photographs. The whole is covered with a finely executed hand engraving of roses and trailing leafery representing love, and to the other side, Ivy which is considered to symbolise the ties of family. A nice touch, and unusually for a locket, this piece is fully hallmarked for Birmingham in 1906. Measures 1.8cm by 2.5cm, and hangs from a pretty ornamental bale.
