Antique Date 1909 9ct Gold Garnet Snake Ring

The snake has since ancient times been considered a symbol of fertility and the creative force, often featuring in myths and legends. This handsome pair, twisted around each other are presented in 9ct yellow gold, with double coils around the finger, a size 'T/10', but slight adjustment might be possible. All handcrafted, their heads glow with hand cut Garnets and their expressions are benign and docile as they are quite tame, a powerful talisman to accompany you through life. The marks inside date this ring to 1901 and with a Chester hallmark it was made in the workshop of John Henry Wynn of Hylton Street in Birmingham's Jewellery Quarter.
