Date 1912 Edwardian Crystal Opal Ring

A magical rainbow hued specimen Australian Crystal Opal cabochon set as a ring in lush 18ct yellow Gold. The gentle oval shaped gem has a pretty pinky background with strong green and blue flashes and is set with feature double claws and a split shoulder which were both typically understated design devices of the time. With a lovely clear full hallmark, we are able to date this piece to 1912 when it was marked for 18ct Gold in Birmingham. The ring is a size 'M' or '6' and can be altered a wee bit to suit, simply leave us a message on your order form.
