A fabulous find for the right person, this vintage Silver monogram displays the three interlinked initials V.B.C, U.C.B, or they could be understood in any other order which suits the significance! We're not sure of the original meaning (or possibly acronym), but a handmade and likely custom piece, the three letters are marked out with different hand engraved textures, the whole so nicely finished and with a beautiful patination which darkens and accents the design. Lovely on the lapel, assayed at Birmingham in 1933 it also shows the mark of Sharman D Neill Ltd, a company operating from Donegall Place in Belfast.
Measures 3cm across and closes with a traditional 'C' clasp. This piece could be converted to a pendant if desired.
