Date 1967 Modernist Moss Agate Specimen Brooch

An abstract shape which nicely reflects the natural pebble shape of this gorgeous example of the lovely Moss Agate often found on Scottish beaches. Mounted in 9ct yellow Gold with a very fine roped edge, this is a hand crafted piece which is marked with the maker's mark 'JHL' and assayed at Birmingham in 1967.

A really fine piece to wear on a Scottish Tweed shawl or however you fancy, the tactile shape and smooth surface a really quite beautiful.
