In the Gothic style espoused by Auguste Pugin the father of modern medievalism, we believe this most charming of Victorian trinkets dates to the 1860's. A once cherished possession, the eight petalled pink Garnet and old hand cut Diamond florette is an embroidery of beautifully judged shapes and colours which has enchanting views from all angles and was created by a skilled hand indeed. A love-ly and romantic choice... It is backed with a locket compartment (which we've not been able to open), the old Diamond has steep facets and a darkened glimmer as seen in old paintings with a haunting mood which takes your heart time travelling. Divine scrolled engraving has been lavished to the shoulders, and the whole is just completely magical!
In 18ct yellow Gold, it is a ring size 'E' or '2.25' but we may be able to alter somewhat to suit. The Diamond measures at around 0.25ct.
Most of our rings can be adjusted to fit for free, this can be done on purchase by making a note in the order form if you know the size, or at a later date if it is a gift. You can download our handy ring sizing guide here, but don't hesitate to contact us if you need further help with this. If visiting us size adjustments can usually be done in around an hour-ish.
