Dating to the early years of Queen Victoria's reign, this rare and lovely antique Diamond cluster ring is quite the most unusual we've seen in a while. A pretty hexagonal shape, nicely low to the hand, the face is pave set with 27 varying old hand cut Diamonds, each one a unique little universe of sparkle. The patina of age has gently darkened the silver setting to a magical effect which gives the whole a subdued and engagingly flickering shimmer. On a fine tapered band of 18ct yellow gold, which leads from the delicately scalloped underbezel, these are the wonderful hand crafted details which we love in old pieces and which just aren't to be found these days.
The ring size is an 'O' or US '7', but we can adjust a little for fit. We estimate the combined weight to be just over half a carat. The face measures 1cm across.
