A rare and unusual antique signet ring with a dedication inside the band which reads 'Obt 28 March 1870 George Churcher' (George Abram Churcher was born in Stoke Newington and later lived in Camberwell working as a hat manufacturer, dying aged 48). In a classical style, the signet is an ancient emblem, and in 18ct yellow gold which has a warmth and weight comforting to wear, the Agate is banded with white and octagonal shaped, making it so immensely stylish on the hand. A ring with such a rich authenticism deserves to be worn with respect and feeling.
The size is an 'N3/4-7'.
