Circa 1950's, a beautiful Art Deco Diamond engagement ring. This sparklingly imaginative creation is a wondrous piece of hand made sculpture presenting a flower bud clasped between leafy shoulders, sitting nicely from the hand so that the side view too is a daily pleasure. The whole top section is crafted in platinum and set with a central Brilliant-cut Diamond which measures at 0.35ct and is as scintillant as you could want, with five old hand cut Diamonds to each of the platinum shoulder sections.
The band of 18ct yellow gold can be adjusted for fit (for free), it is currently an 'N' or US '6 and three quarters'. From the Jazz age, this is an especially lovely example of the style that was popular, full of the spirit of rejuvenation which was the mood at the time.
