A darling and very romantic floral creation which we can date to 1937 as it is fully hallmarked for that year. Loveliest upon the hand, the vibrant bluey/green Crystal Opal is framed by thirteen glittery and much older hand cut Diamond petals, which would have been recycled in the making of this ring (a comfort when considering ethical mining practices). All is mounted in 18ct white Gold, which was a great novelty and very fashionable at the time and has the distinct marks which show it was handmade in every aspect. Such a wonderful choice for a special birthday or anniversary, we have refurbished this beauty by repolishing the gorgeous Opal by hand.
The thirteen twinkly Diamonds measure at around 0.05ct each and so we estimate the combined total at 0.65ct. The cluster measures 13mm across. The ring size measures at an 'S' or '9' but could easily be adjusted to suit.
