Oh, 'Gasp'.....Breathtaking! Vintage 1.15ct Hand-cut Diamond Solitaire Engagement Ring
A most wonderfully sparkulacious vintage Diamond solitaire engagement ring. Circa 1930's, it is crafted by hand in the style of a central flower bud with the arc of the shoulders imagined as leafy supports. It has the most satisfying side views in which the whole profile of the plumptious old hand cut Diamond can be enjoyed.
The Diamond, which has a weight of 1.15ct would have been cut around 1870's, and so would have been recycled at the time this ring was made. What a delightful thought to give this glittery treasure a new life into it's third century!
English made, in a naturalistic but adventurous style, the entirely hand made and engraved setting is crafted in platinum and the band of 18ct white gold. The stone does have a black inclusion, as is common with many Diamonds cut at this time, it can be seen in the photographs on zoom, centrally placed and well disguised above the culet.
In pristine condition, this beauty deserves to be loved and worn again. The ring size is easily adjustable for free; at present she measures O/7/15/55.
A valuation certificate for insurance purposes will be included with purchase.
