In a prettily floral enamelled oval shape, this sweet Victorian locket dates to the mid 19th century. The beautifully hand engraved gilded shield panel to the reverse over a shiny brass structure is skilfully fashioned to captivating effect opening to hold two precious images.
Paired with a later decorative guard chain measuring 32 inches with a fancy drop which looks really striking doubled up and worn in different ways.
It measures one inch longest way.
