Unforgettably pretty, lit by the fascinating glitter of old hand cut Diamonds this antique engagement ring dates to the late Victorian period and is in the five stone style so loved at the time but with those unique touches which we adore. All in 18ct yellow Gold, the unusual belcher style setting is ornamented to the shoulders with exquisite scrolled carving, gently tapered in shape. The wonderful gems are hand cut with individuality and are a gorgeous white, the effect of light upon their facets causing them to tremble like pure waterdrops. The Diamonds measure at around 0.70ct combined weight, the centre stone alone, 0.25ct. Inside the band is also the maker's mark for Edward Durban & Co. of Frederick Street in Birmingham, registered in 1889-92. The ring size is an 'M' or '6' but can be altered to suit for free.
