Just typical of the period, this vintage Natural Saltwater Pearl and Diamond ring is the epitome of elegance! The Pearl itself a cute natural bouton shape with that hazy gleam that is charm itself. The four antique hand-cut Rose Diamonds to each shoulder are the perfect side of twinkly to add a delicate glimmer to the band across the finger. The metal used is 18ct gold for the band and platinum for the setting to the Diamonds and Pearl, the maker's mark is 'R.W.J' is for Robert William Jay, with this stamp used circa 1920's.
Pearls are a little delicate and perhaps not for everyday wear, in common with many antique Pearl rings this one has has a little damage either side where it has been worn next to another ring, but nothing detrimental and all is stable and ready to go as Natural Pearls are made up of layer upon layer of lustrous nacre. .
The size at present is an 'N/6.5/13/53', but a cinch to adjust for fit for free.
