A precious little find, the like of which we've never seen before.... an antique gem ring dating to the late 'Georgian' era and marked inside the band for 1834 at Birmingham the stamps also showing the head of William IV and the stamp for Jesse Sargeant of Caroline St. All original, but we believe the band is possibly older than the setting as pieces are often recycled in this manner. The cabochon cut Garnet is shaped in the squared style as was fashionable at the time and the setting is hand engraved with pretty floral embellishments. Miniature perfection.
All in 18ct yellow Gold, the ring size is a 'K' or '5.5' and we'd rather not adjust due to the hallmark.
