Circa 1850's/60's, this snakily linked bracelet has a wonderfully tactile presence, rolling over on the wrist as the hand turns, cleverly crafted with a ingenious link in link. Closing with a hand engraved hidden clasp which is fitted with a safety chain from which dangles a pretty heart charm. All in 9ct yellow Gold which has developed a nicely darkened patina this would have been a most fashionable jewel at the time but easily assimilates to a more contemporary aesthetic to become a close favourite.
The heart charm is a later replacement but matches very well. It fits a wrist size around 7 inches with wiggle room. It weighs 16.49 grams.
