A fabulous example of the Archaeological Revivalist style which was immensely fashionable at the time; an antique Victorian era Silver Gilt bangle dating to the 1870's/80's. Nicely weighty and lovely quality, there is a wealth of detailed work to the whole with applied beaded wirework and grainti to the chunky 3D applique centre panel (which is attached with a rivet).
There is a further hand engraved element with a design of scrolling leafery to the whole. It really is a statement!
It measures 3cm wide and has a 16.5cm circumference wrist; closing with a nice secure hidden tongue clasp.
It is of Sterling Silver (tested but unmarked) which has been plated with Gold, but there is some variation to the cover of this but only commensurate with age.
Most of our rings can be adjusted to fit for free, this can be done on purchase by making a note in the order form if you know the size, or at a later date if it is a gift.
