Vintage Art Deco Style Verneuil Sapphire & Diamond Ring

Item #07554

Dating to the mid 20th century, this gorgeous ring would have been the height of fashion and technology at the time it was made. A typically desirable geometric Art Deco style, it is set with a velvetty Kashmir blue Verneuil Sapphire flanked by twinkly old eight-cut Diamonds to the stepped shoulders. All in platinum and of perfect proportions, the whole has been hand crafted with great skill. A ring size 'N' or US '7', but easy to adjust if required.

Verneuil Sapphires are lab grown to a process patented by August Verneuil in Paris in 1909. The stones created from Corundum (the material that form natural Sapphire) are chemically and physically the equivalent of their naturally found counterparts, and this process enables the creation of large gems which are of the very best colour and clarity, stones which would be rare and hence very costly if found naturally.
