A charming vintage Diamond engagement ring in the Art Deco style, simple and pleasing in design, it is set with a central twinkly old hand cut Diamond flanked by sleek baguette cut Diamonds (fabulous and very fashionable at the time). All is neat and lovely and would sit v nicely with a wedding band. Dating to the first half of the 20th century, inside the band is the stamp for Platinum and for the maker, Harris Leon Brown of Sheffield (first registered 1892).
Please note the central Diamond has a chip to the girdle (which likely happened in the setting of the gem) which is partly hidden by a claw but can be seen with a 10x loupe (see photograph number 3 at seven o'clock).
Nonetheless the gem is lovely and white and has a good sparkle, perfectly imperfect, she has been this way all this time and so is looking for someone who will love her this way. The ring size is an 'M and a half' but could be adjusted a tweek to fit, and for free. Just leave a note in your order form.
