Brighton, having grown from a fishing village to a bustling and very fashionable town in the Regency period due to the patronage of the then Prince of Wales (King George IV 1820-1830), still retains great character and independence of spirit, being chosen each year by millions of visitors who enjoy it's quirky and artistic vibe.

The Lanes area of Brighton, where we are based, is the oldest part of the city, most of the buildings dating from the 1790's and retains much personality, with cobbled streets which one can wander and enjoy the clusters of old Georgian shops boasting the largest number of independent, secondhand and antique jewellery shops anywhere in the UK outside of London; 45 at the last count! Every weekend couples and families from far and wide visit to stroll the narrow winding streets of Brighton Lanes soaking up the old world atmosphere and browsing the glittering windows full of precious trinkets to purchase gifts for their nearest and dearest.
