Exchanges and Returns
Your satisfaction is our primary concern! So, when an item has been purchased online, and you are not fully satisfied with your purchase, you may return it for an exchange or refund (all you pay for is the cost of shipping and insurance). Exemptions include items which we have tailor-made or personalised, sized or adjusted in any way for you, items purchased on layaway terms and discounted items.
To receive a refund or credit note:
1. You must notify us by email or telephone within 14 days after you receive the item(s).
2. Returns must be sent out to us within 24 hours after notification.
3. Items must be returned, fully insured for the paid price, in the exact same condition as dispatched, in the original packaging, without any alterations or damage in order to receive your refund. Please include your sales receipt.
4. All postage costs incurred for both journeys will be deducted from the refunded amount.
International Returns: The customer is responsible for arranging to have the item(s) returned to us, and for any costs incurred. Please mark the package as ‘Return of sample merchandise, origin UK, item over 100 years old’. It is the responsibility of the international customer to label the returned package correctly as returned goods, so as to avoid any unneccessary charges when re-entering the UK. If there are any charges incurred for returned items, that are out of our control, such as import duties, then these will be deducted from the refund amount.
Refunds or credits will be processed within 3 days of receipt and inspection of the item(s). We will confirm receipt of the returned item(s), and completion of the refund, by email.
Restocking Fee: In the event of late returns we reserve the right to deduct 10% of the purchase price of the returned item(s) to cover handling and re-stocking costs.
