Much loved, this antique early 20th century 9ct Gold locket is smoothed with loving wear. The romantic heart shape one to capture fondness and accentuated by the lavishly hand engraved Ivy leaves which cover the frontispiece (IVY symbolising the ties of love and family). It opens to show the original glassed compartment and measures just short of one inch lengthwise.
Metal: 9ct back and front plates, with the hinges and frames of base metal for strength
Please note the 'dinks' to both sides, which we mention tho' we don't feel they despoil her continued wear and appreciation.
