Circa 1870's/80's, an antique locket in a sweepingly romantic style with gorgeous and abundant engraving to each side. Perennially meaningful, it is ornamented with wild Roses for love framed by a buckle symbolising FIDELITY.
Although not of precious metals, this would have once been a treasured place to keep memories close and tells of the fact that people in all walks of life were being able to afford jewels at this time.
Size: The locket measures 4cm by 3.3cm and is complete with the two original frames to keep your keepsakes safe
Metal: brass or other base metal, lightly gilded with faded 9ct Gold; smoothed with loving wear
