An antique cabochon Almandine Garnet ring with an historic mood which captures the obsession with antiquity and the jewels of the ancients at the time. The deep red cabochon cut Garnet in history (for it is an ancient gem) is oft referred to as 'carbuncle' and considered a blessing and to wear in many cultures.
Mounted in 14ct Gold, all is custom made, the design resembles Mediaeval rings with fluted edges to the setting all in all gives a beautifully romantic impression. The ring size is an 'M' or '6.25' as is but could easily be altered to suit if you leave a message on your order form. The Garnet measures 13.70mm x 12mm.
Most of our rings can be adjusted to fit for free, this can be done on purchase by making a note in the order form if you know the size, or at a later date if it is a gift.
