A very special little sentimental Victorian Turquoise and Wild Pearl ring dating to the mid 19th century and fashioned by hand at the time along the themes of the Forget me not; the Turquoise taken to represent this thought.
The gems are beautiful; bright 'Robin's Egg' colour Turquoise adorned with miniature Wild Pearls. So precious! There is a faded remnant of hand engraving to the shoulders, and looking, it may be that the band was replaced at some time as it is a slightly different colour to the setting around the stones (the band is of 18ct Gold and we think the setting of 15ct). These elements are those that we treasure and hold dear... the continued love and appreciation down the years.
We have undertaken a caring restoration job (as promised to her previous owner, whose mother it belonged to) and unfortunately can't alter the ring size which is an 'L' or '5.75' as is.
Most of our rings can be adjusted to fit for free, this can be done on purchase by making a note in the order form if you know the size, or at a later date if it is a gift.
