Associated with a number of different surnames, the handiwork laboriously undertaken by a skilled artisan, the intaglio deeply carved to the face of this signet ring shows a bull's head and neck couped on a ducal coronet. In a classic oval style which is wonderfully familiar on the hand, this a personal item which has been worn and loved developing an aged patina so that it immediately looks as tho' it belongs on the hand.
The wonderful emblem can be found in Fairburn's book of Crests of the families of Great Britain and Ireland representing belief and heritage.
Ring Size: L or 6.5 as is but suitable for alteration
Metal: 9ct Yellow Gold (with a workshop stamp inside the band). It weighs 4.54 grams
