A simple and pretty design for this band ring dating to 1876 and capturing a slightly mystical femininity in the gems, both calling to Venus, the alluring spirit of the waves. Crafted in 15ct yellow Gold, each of the gems is set in a box which contrasts with the roundness of their curves. Quite lovely in fact.
Stones: half natural Pearls and cabochon Crystal Opals
Metal: 15ct yellow Gold, a standard used solely in Britain between the years of 1854-1932
Ring Size: O or 7 as is. Not suitable for alteration.
Measurements: the band tapers from 1.8mm at the back to 4.5 at the front panel
In most cases the boxes are for display only but a nice quality modern reproduction box will accompany this piece.
