A most colourful and natural Crystal Opal cabochon mounted in a simple setting of 9ct white Gold with an elevated height and feature double claws adding interest and elegance; see our photographs to appreciate the fine hand work which has gone into creating this vintage beauty. The Opal herself has a dreamy sky blue/green overtone with flashes of mauve and orange as the light rolls over the newly repolished surfaces.
All original, circa 1920's, this piece would have been greatly fashionable and interesting as Opals from Australia had only been available since the 1890's.
Stones: cabochon Crystal Opal
Metal: 9ct white Gold (tested but unmarked)
Ring Size: N or 6.5 as is but suitable to alter for fit. This is a free service, just leave a message on your order form.
