Circa 1980's, a vintage Sapphire and Diamond Daisy cluster engagement ring. Crafted with great care and attention, the whole is a pretty example of its kind and would make a very special gift. The Sapphire is that bright sparkly lilac/blue characteristic of gems from Ceylon and the Diamonds are tiny brilliants which have a subdued glinty presence
So different to what can be found on the high street in terms of similar designs nowadays and of course ethically sound as a choice. The whole of 9ct yellow Gold with a beautifully fancy decoration to the shoulders. The setting has residues of white rhodium plating which in places has worn away; as we quite like the effect we've left as is...
Stones: natural Sapphire and Diamonds (.10ct)
Metal: 9ct yellow Gold with a hallmark inside the band
Ring Size: N or 6.5 as is but easy to alter the size
Measurements: the cluster measures 1cm across lengthwise
In most case the boxes are for display only but a nice quality modern reproduction box will accompany this piece.
