A totally one-off piece of vintage glamour! This beauteous Art Deco Diamond engagement ring, is a marvellous feat of Platinum engineering! From the gorgeous tulip-style setting, to the fine hand construction of the underbezel, this ring has interest from every view. A wonderful Art Deco floral creation, circa 1950's and of English origin, this piece really does have the 'WOW' factor.
The centrepiece natural Diamond is contemporary with the ring and would have been the highest technology as far as Diamond cutting was considered at the time. The accuracy of the 57 facets bringing a greater effervescence than ever possible before.
Entirely original and now recycled one can't make a better choice as an engagement ring. A valuation certificate for insurance purposes will be provided with this item alongside the Certificate from The Birmingham Assay Office.
Stone: Natural Diamond. The Diamond is an especially effervescent antique brilliant-cut with a measured weight of 0.86ct, certificated at I Colour & SI2 Clarity, and two teeny cushion-cut Diamonds adorn each leafy shoulder.
Metal: Platinum. Tested but not hallmarked as Platinum did not have a stamp in the UK until 1975.
Ring Size: this ring is a finger size 'M' or '6 1/4', but can easily be adjusted. This is a free service, just leave a message on your order form.
In most cases the boxes are for display only but a nice quality modern reproduction box will accompany this piece.
