A very pretty little antique ring in a slightly Gothic Revival style incorporating decorated shoulders either side of the diamond shaped central panel. The gems were cut by hand and set in a flower motif around a central star set with a tiny rose cut Diamond; these very bright, precious hot pink Rubies were known to have come from the mines in Burma; mines which are no longer in commercial existence.
Although not delicate, this is a ring to treat with care as the setting would not stand up to modern day rigours such as visits to the gym or washing up etc!! However cared for she'll make a new heart happy into her third century...
