Vintage Date 1936 Diamond Trilogy Engagement Ring

A magnificent vintage Diamond Trilogy engagement ring which is of the loveliest quality and all original, dating to 1936 and features three wonderful natural Diamonds each of which is a uniquely sparkly world unto itself. 

A super choice for reasons of originality and ethicality, all is in nice condition and ready to make her way to the heart of her new owner! The Diamonds are very beautiful, being a gorgeous white and captivatingly glittery. The matching brilliant-cut Diamonds to the sides were considered in their day to be the ideal, but you'll notice from our magnified photographs that the centre stone is everso slightly different from the others.

A recycled stone, faceted by the skilled hand of an artisan in the way of the Old European cut using the most modern technology of the day to achieve the very best and most sparky display from the precious gem. These are the aspects which we seek out and enjoy so much with antique Diamonds; it was not cut by laser or in a laboratory to a modern vision of perfection, but retaining somewhat of an old style glinty beauty. This adds so much interest and story!

The trio are mounted in coronet style Platinum collets on a gallery and band of 18ct yellow Gold which has a gentle smoothed gleam. Being gently shaped to fit the finger it is easy to wear and additionally is imbued with a romantic meaning of the three ages of Love; past, present and future.

There is inside the band a full hallmark applied in the Birmingham Assay Office in 1936 and also the maker's mark for Robert Pringle of the Clerkenwell Road in London. 

Stones: Natural Diamonds. The lovesome old Diamonds measure at 0.20: 0.35: 0.20ct judged in the setting with a Schindler gauge (0.70ct combined).

Metal: 18ct Yellow Gold to the band and Platinum to the setting

Ring Size: The ring size can be altered to suit and measures as a 'K' or '5.25' as is. Just leave a message on your order form.
