Inspired by the Arts & Crafts Movement in the UK which included such artists as William Morris and Ruskin themselves inspired by Auguste Pugin the Gothic Revivalist active in the first half of the 19th century, this wonderful antique Diamond ring dates to 1913. A complete and harmonious design with finely carved split shoulders centring around a unique old hand faceted European cut Diamond. Read about this particular cut here.
The beautifully twinkly hand faceted natural Diamond itself (which we have measured at around 0.35ct) is suspended in a flowersesque setting reminiscent of those seen in Mediaeval jewellery, and church windows! In truly lovely condition for its age, this gorgeous creation would make a most incredible engagement ring for the history lover!

Metal: Fully hallmarked at the Birmingham Assay Office as 18ct Gold in 1913
