An antique Victorian Archaeological Revival style dress ring as would once have been worn by a 19th century fashionista... Sadly we have no marks or clues as to her origin, but know that pieces of this quality don't come along often. A wonderful gift for the lover of history and art.
Carefully cared for down the generations, this miraculous survivor from times past was perhaps created in celebration of the ancient jewels unearthed in the tombs of Etruria and shows clever work in the craft of twisted Gold wirework. Set with a natural deep peach Mediterranean Coral cabochon and two lustrous old natural Pearls; the whole a beautifully balanced design entirely fashioned by the hand of an artisan jeweller in rich 14ct yellow Gold to an antiquated recipe.
Stones: natural Coral and Sea Pearls.
Metal: 14ct yellow Gold, tested but unmarked.
Ring Size: L or 5.75 as is but unsuitable to alter due to the design of the band.
In most cases the boxes are for display only but a nice quality modern reproduction box will accompany this piece.
Most of our rings can be adjusted to fit for free, this can be done on purchase by making a note in the order form if you know the size, or at a later date if it is a gift.
